Problem Space

During summertime, my friend and I went for a trip to L.A. However; I encountered serval problems:

  • When we are traveling in L.A, as our need to move many destinations in one day, since we are not familiar with places, we have to download Uber apps for our main transportation, which is expensive if you are moving to a long distance.
  • Every step from booking a hotel to local transportation, food, the planner was hustling; ( need to install more than 4 to more apps to do all of those planning.), which cause the device storage overload, frustrating, and a bit inconvenience to switch around apps.

Design Research

Nowadays, traveler likes to create and share their content on social media; in most case, using the mobile device are one of the main tools to share with the communities.

What this means is a change of focus. Traveler nowadays shifts their thinking and connect with them on a deeper, more personal level. Visitors want to feel something from the places they visit. They want to be touched by the stories of the people and actively participate in culture and community.

Scenarios

During traveling, there are always unexpected happening, to avoid some dissatisfied experience for the user, I created three possible scenarios while the user might face in using this app.

Low – Fidelity Prototype & UX Flow Chart

In the first stage of my prototype, I carried out the key feature which I want to explore on Limit.Go

Limit. Go allows users to search for the destination with the different routes of transportations.

Upon going into the local event, the user could view reviews from people who have been there on their previous trip. A rating system is also designed for the user.

User Testing

For the respondents, I chose people of similar age, but with different professions because the target group is young people between 18 -35 years old.

Mood Broad Design

I designed the logo as a destination icon in the middle, with a paper plane outlining as the conversation mark. The logo represents the concept of “limit the time to plan your trip, and sharing your experience with others!”.
